How much gear do you have?

Depending on the venue, we can bring a smaller setup to suit. If it's a pub venue, we have a fully electric setup with a smaller amount of gear. This allows us to fit in a small corner of the venue which will be less hassle for the venue. It also means we can reduce the volume all the way down or bring it all the way up depending on how loud you want it without losing quality!​

For larger venues and weddings, we have a full, top-of-the-line PA system, acoustic drums and a light system.

How long do you play for?

Usually, we play for two and a half hours over a 3-hour period.

Will you play quicksteps and waltzes?

Although we pride ourselves in keeping the whole night as lively and diverse as possible, we are very aware that there will be a section of the audience who would like to waltz and quickstep. We feel it very important to play to the crowd in front of us and so, in order to cater to all ages and groups, do have a collection of waltzes and quick steps to choose from.

How long does it take for the band to set up?
45mins to 1 hour, depending on the size of the venue and the P.A / equipment required for the room. If it's a pub gig, even faster as it's a complete electric set up.

What time do you start your performance?
Times can vary but we are usually asked to start at 9:30pm so we would need to start setting up the equipment at around 8.30pm.

​

Do you take a break during your performance?
It is common place to take a short break an hour or so into the performance (at weddings) when tea and coffee are served to your guests, during which time we will play some recorded background music.

Do you provide a DJ and Pre-dinner music package?
Yes. Please check our full wedding package or contact us for a quote.

Can you play a specific song for our first dance?
Yes. We would be delighted to perform it live on the night.

​

Do you have a setlist we could have a look at?
Absolutely. There is a set list on the website which outlines the kind of songs we play but it is just a sample.

Where are the band based? Do you travel?
We are based in Kilkenny but are willing to travel to all other counties and, if necessary, abroad also.

​

Do you provide all of the sound and lighting equipment?
Yes, we provide our own sound and lighting equipment of the highest quality.

 

How does the band dress for the function?
Black suits, black shirt and red ties. Classy!

Can we come to see you play?
Yes. You are very welcome to see us perform at any of the wedding fairs and showcases. Just get in touch with us and we will be more than happy to tell you when our next gig is.
